Biomedical Engineering BSc Programs
Admission Requirement
The admission criterion for the regular program is successful completion of the common pre-engineering program, with possible performance-based screening.
Duration of Study
The regular program takes five years, including the common pre-engineering semester and the common Internship semester during which the students are expected to stay within a healthcare institution. The evening program takes six years, including five summers.
Graduation Requirements
- Completing 177 CrHr (318 ECTS), i.e.,
- 55 CrHr (91ECTS), for General Education and Engineering;
- 53 CrHr (88 ECTS), for Supportive;
- 65 CrHr (134 ECTS), for Core/Major, and
- 3 CrHr (5 ECTS), for electives without F grade in any course
- Minimum Overall CGPA of 2.00 and Core (Major) CGPA 2.00;
- Fulfillment of the Industry Attachment requirement;
- Conduct an independent research work, the B.Sc. Thesis.
